Give incentives for students/employees who wash their hands before lunch.

Hang posters in your organization to remind individuals to wash
their hands.

Mention National Clean Hands Week on your website.

Encourage the use of waterless hand products.

Put articles in your school newspaper/organization newsletter.

Teachers--Ask students and faculty to write clean hand commitments on paper
hands and hang the hands around your cafeteria or gymnasium.

Give away bookmarks

Contact your local newspapers and help them write an article about
handwashing (You could use the Press Release/Proclamation to start your article.)

Have a germ hunt and give a prize for the individuals who identify the
most places where germs hide!

Most of all have fun during National Clean Hands Week and don't forget to keep washing those hands throughout the year!
